SSV Info

Purpose

The main purpose of the SSV (students self administration) is to represent the inhabitants of the GHB to the Studentenwerk. Therefore it is the first instance to contact in case of a problem (which is non-technical kind like the network). They also organize the social events of the GHB like the "Sommerfest" or the "First May Walk". Furthermore they take care of the tutorships like table tennis or the gym.

Organization of the SSV

Each semester a plenum takes place at the Speicher. At this plenum the volunteers for the tutorships are introduced. If you feel like you want to run one of these tutorships please contact us beforehand.

The members of the SSV are elected for one year (in each winter semester) at the plenum. Have a look at who is who to find out who's currently in charge.

Tutorships

• Gym: There is a gym located in the ground floor of the building 8. There is also an small boxing-room on the E-Floor. If you want to use one of it, please contact the current tutor.
• Table tennis: You can find the table tennis room at the ground floor of building 4. It's open for all inhabitants of the GHB at all time. If you want to play make sure you bring your own equipment or you can borrow it from the current tutor.
• Washing machines: There are washing machines all over the GHB.

  • GHB 6 - 4th floor
  • GHB 8 - 2nd floor
  • GHB 9 - E floor
  You'll need your F-Card to run the washing machine.
• Other tutorships include iron and vacuum cleaner rent. For a complete list see who is who.
